So now the challenge really sets in, day one just took action to write something. Today seems to be a lot harder as it’s the weekend and it hadn’t been the most exciting one. Mainly due to me being lazy and not wanting to get out much. I don’t want this to become a daily diary, but I think I may be headed that way in this post today. Not a bad thing as it’s the weekend and during the week I will focus on digital and tech writing.
It was a stunning morning after a rather wet start. I have a weekly video call with my mum and sister, which I have been doing since we arrived here on the here on the Isle of Man. Had some work to do for about two hours, then had some shopping and my favourite visit to the trip otherwise know as the recycling centre- I really do like clearing out stuff!
Tonight is the first of a two part programme on the BBC’s Panorama about the VAT issues regarding private jets here on the Isle of Man. Will be interesting to see if they can uncover anything illegal. Just another exploited loophole I imagine. That seems to be the way of the world, find a loophole, maximise it for as long as it lasts then move onto the next one.
Another thing worth sharing, we as a family have decided to watch the XFactor together. So that’s our Saturday and Sunday night bonding session. It also helps that there is a Manx Man in this year’s competition. He’s none other than Sam Black. He is up against some stiff competition this year from the likes of Grace Davies and Rak-Su. The impressive thing is that they have been doing their own original songs.

So that’s it for today, not much in the way of inspiring but I have write something everyday.
BTW: These are published a day after I have written them…
