I have a fantastic job, working at Home Strategic here on the Isle of Man as a Social Media Manager. We have just completed the branding and website for a stunning new artisan gin called: ‘Fynoderee’
I have played a small role in the whole process but it’s been great to see this brand come to life.
Who or what is ‘The Fynoderee’ except taken from their website.
We were introduced to the story of the Fynoderee by our interest in the Ramsey Forest Project / Reintroduction of Juniper that has taken place in Glen Auldyn. This lovely Manx folklore story is set in the very same location as the newly planted Juniper groves.
Here’s a glimpse of the website from our Facebook page.
Here are Gerald’s tasting notes for the first batch Fynoderee.
Containing over 15 different botanical ingredients, our seasonal gin is a ‘winter wonderment’ of piney juniper, rich juicy berries (we used hand-picked Elderberry, Blackberry and Sloe) with the subtle spice of liquorice and clove and a smooth warming, cinnamon finish.
Our recommended serve is a double measure of Fyn poured over lashings of fresh ice, garnished with a cassia bark quill or a cinnamon stick, together with a twist of orange peel and a dash of premium Indian tonic water. Alternatively, a sprig of fresh rosemary works well and adds an herbaceous note.
Thanks for your time!
