I haven’t written for a week now and I am starting to miss it, but still not sure where this post will lead.
The snow has all but melted and been washed away by the rain. The good news is we are getting a little bit warmer. It has been bitterly cold this past week with top temperatures reaching only 5C.
Yesterday was my son’s birthday party. He and his mates when to play Laser Mayhem in the Barulle forest. It was 6C and they had an amazing time. Oh to be a kid again, no worries and everything is exciting.
Well the excitement is brewing in our house as we have 3 days left at work, then we are heading to Scotland for Christmas and New Year. We are going to be staying at Zoe’s folk’s place which is going to be great. We have ever been away for Christmas since we moved to the Isle of Man. So this is going to be an amazing adventure.
Early this coming Thursday morning we board the ferry to Heysham. Then it’s about and hour and a half drive. We are all ready and can’t wait to get off the rock for two weeks. Time to connect with the family, relax and get ready for 2018 Hogmanay style.
Have a fantastic Festive Season!
